NEHC builds non-invasive, highly engineered, hydropower projects in the 500kW to over a megawatt sector. We permit and manage these projects to completion in-house. Our team of experienced experts is collaborative and entirely interactive throughout every project. We are resilient and imaginative, considering the regulatory and financial parameters that are inherent in the hydro business.
We seek balance between environmental concerns and prerogatives and the need to build sites that are commercially viable, and large enough to make an impact on carbon emissions. The outcome of what we do provides significant green electricity using environmentally sound practices.
NEHC thrives on building solid relationships throughout a project. We are early in our communications with local government, communities, and state agencies. We are well-considered and have strong ties to federal and state agencies, financial, engineering and construction partners. We have excellent working relationships throughout, engaging communities and NGOs prior to any requirement in the permitting process. Our goal is that all parties find a benefit to a project.
We are a small, but growing company of experts. We work together remotely and in person. We value flexibility, a sense of humor, quality of life. We have patience but require employees to deliver as we agree in our daily interactions. Above all, we expect high personal ethics and honesty and we respect personal boundaries.
NEHC will give you room to excel and learn a unique business—all aspects, as we are open and transparent in sharing the goals, conditions, successes and failures of our efforts. You will be working with a team of people who value environmental responses to the rising dangers of climate change.
